Michał Marcińczuk is an owner of CodeNLP, a head of ML NLP in Samurai Labs, and a senior research fellow at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2013 with a thesis on information extraction from text for the Polish language. His main areas of research interest are language technologies for information extraction from text (including named entities, semantic relation between named entities, temporal expressions, spatial information, and events), sentiment analysis, web crawling, and plagiarism detection. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of natural language processing,, including participation in several national and international projects and cooperation with NLP/AI-based companies.
